Being a Christian in the wider world
Being a Christian in a wider world needs to be supported.
In our churches we have study groups that generally meet each week. The idea is to support each other as we go about our daily lives.
They help us grow in knowledge and understanding.
They follow a pattern of study that may reflect the season of the year, a parish study theme, or a theme of interest to the group.
Groups meet both during the day and in the evenings.

On January 15th a new group is being started in Dunmow. It is a Monday morning group from 10.00 to 12.00 and will be run by Rev. Cilla Hawkes. It is entitled "Getting to know the Bible". This is going to cost £10 and is for anyone, even if you have never opened a Bible. It will look at questions like:
- "Where the instructions are in case you want to build an ark"
- Where it says 'Love of money is the root of all evil'
- What Jesus had to say about children.
